MarketerHire is seeking a senior growth marketer to serve as the Fractional Head of Growth & Integration for Constant Contact’s leading virtual email marketing conference. This role owns the integrated strategy across audience acquisition, lifecycle marketing, content, community, product adoption, partnerships, sponsorships, lead generation and cross-functional activation, transforming the annual conference into a measurable, year-round growth platform. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience, senior-level leadership capability, strong commercial judgment and the ability to mobilize teams without direct authority.
Responsibilities
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><strong>Own the integrated growth strategy:</strong> Develop the end-to-end strategy across audience acquisition, engagement, product adoption, pipeline, content, community, sponsorships and partnerships.</li><li><strong>Set the operating model and strategic direction:</strong> Translate the conference’s broader potential into a focused plan with priorities, owners, timelines, success metrics and clear connections to Constant Contact’s customer acquisition, lifecycle, brand and category leadership strategies.</li><li><strong>Lead pre-conference go-to-market execution:</strong> Direct the November conference plan across paid media, lifecycle marketing, email, social, content, influencers, speakers, partners, sponsors, public relations and Constant Contact’s owned channels.</li><li><strong>Design audience journeys:</strong> Build differentiated journeys for prospects, customers, agencies, partners, creators, nonprofits, small businesses and enterprise marketers, while optimizing registration flows, landing pages, messaging, conversion funnels and attendee communications.</li><li><strong>Drive conference activation:</strong> Design the attendee journey across registration, agenda discovery, live participation, product experiences and follow-up, integrating Constant Contact products, customers, experts and thought leadership without compromising educational value or audience trust.</li><li><strong>Build post-conference growth:</strong> Create segmented journeys that convert audience attention into ongoing engagement, product trials, product adoption, customer expansion, partner opportunities and qualified pipeline.</li><li><strong>Develop a year-round platform:</strong> Turn conference sessions, speakers, insights and audience questions into an always-on content engine and establish the foundation for year-round community programming, webinars, newsletters, expert series, benchmark reports and educational content.</li><li><strong>Establish measurement and optimization:</strong> Create a practical measurement framework, live reporting and performance review process connecting conference activity to marketing and business outcomes, including registration, attendance, engagement, acquisition and pipeline.</li><li><strong>Lead cross-functional integration:</strong> Coordinate growth marketing, lifecycle, product marketing, brand, content, creative, communications, website, partnerships, sales, customer success, product, marketing operations and analytics stakeholders around one integrated plan.</li><li><strong>Provide senior-level leadership:</strong> Mobilize teams without direct authority, resolve dependencies, escalate decisions, report progress and risks to senior leadership, and build a repeatable model Constant Contact can use to activate and grow the conference over time.</li></ul>
Requirements
<h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li><strong>10+ years</strong> of experience in growth marketing, integrated marketing, demand generation, audience development, lifecycle marketing or a related field.</li><li>Previous experience operating at the Head of Growth, VP, Director, fractional marketing leader or senior consultant level.</li><li>A track record of building integrated growth programs around major conferences, virtual events, media properties, content platforms, communities or large audiences.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to translate audience scale and engagement into product adoption, customer acquisition, qualified pipeline or revenue.</li><li>Strong command of acquisition marketing, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, conversion rate optimization, content distribution, audience segmentation and marketing analytics.</li><li>Experience developing multi-channel campaigns across paid media, owned channels, social, influencers, partnerships, sponsorships, public relations and sales activation.</li><li>Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, lead management, attribution, funnel analytics and first-party data strategy.</li><li>Ability to move fluently between executive-level strategy, cross-functional program leadership and hands-on execution.</li><li>Exceptional stakeholder-management skills and the ability to mobilize teams without relying on direct authority.</li><li>Strong commercial instincts and the ability to prioritize opportunities most likely to create meaningful enterprise value.</li><li>Comfort operating in a fast-moving enterprise environment with high visibility, multiple stakeholders and a fixed event date.</li><li>Availability to dedicate a minimum of <strong>20 hours per week</strong>, with flexibility to support critical periods surrounding the November conference.</li><li>Excellent written, verbal and executive communication skills.</li></ul>
